Events not to miss this month

News from the Cheshire County Democrats; *Given the appalling remarks made by Rush Limbaugh last week regarding the brave Georgetown Law student, we have had requests that ask you to contact the general manager, Bob Cox of WKBK, and tell him to take Rush off the air for his despicable behavior. It’s a good opportunity to flood his office with complaints. 352-9230*.

About –

Doris “Granny D” Haddock’s 14 month walk, at the age of 90, from Los Angeles to Washington DC to draw attention to and to protest against the “betrayal of democracy by money in politics” (Bill Moyers). That was in 1999-2000. Shown now by special arrangement with Alidra Solday, it is to be followed by a panel-led discussion about this continuing betrayal. May Granny D’s defiant spirit inspire us!
