Doris “Granny D” Haddock’s 14 month walk, at the age of 90, from Los Angeles to Washington DC to draw attention to and to protest against the “betrayal of democracy by money in politics” (Bill Moyers). That was in 1999-2000. Shown now by special arrangement with Alidra Solday, it is to be followed by a panel-led discussion about this continuing betrayal. May Granny D’s defiant spirit inspire us!

BIKE FOR OBAMA; Come join Bike For Obama for a canvas in downtown Keene. Bike For Obama is a grassroots bike tour in support of the President. Ellery Althaus is riding through each of the lower 48 states volunteering for the Obama campaign in each state. His first day’s ride is starting March 17th at 10am at Pliny Park, Brattleboro, VT and ending in Keene, NH that afternoon, anyone is welcome to come out and ride or volunteer.
