Dear Friend,

Democrats are working harder than ever to win back majorities in the House, Senate and Executive Council, and to elect a governor who will work every day to protect New Hampshire working families. The best way we can accomplish these goals right now is to knock doors for our House special elections.

Election Day for Josh Adjutant, House Representative candidate in Ashland, Alexandria, Bristol, Bridgewater and Grafton, is on Tuesday, September 5th, just four short weeks away!! Please volunteer for a GOTV canvassing shift for Josh Adjutant HERE.

… “It is my understanding that the voter data that will be released will not be in a searchable form and will not come from a statewide database. The Secretary of State has agreed to adhere to current New Hampshire law and only release publicly available information . . . We appreciate Senator Bette Lasky and Representative Neal Kurk for bringing forward this bipartisan lawsuit to protect New Hampshire voter information data from wide distribution and commercial use . . . We will continue to monitor and safeguard any activity that will compromise the privacy of New Hampshire voters and to file legislation that may be necessary.” … – Representative Steve Shurtleff (D-Penacook)

… “All New Hampshire leaders need to condemn, not condone, President Trump’s remarks in the strongest terms. I call on Governor Sununu and NH Republican legislative leaders to stand up for those suffering from addiction and the tireless advocates and front-line services providers . . . While we need to do more to combat addiction, the President owes them and the entire state an apology for his tactless and insulting characterization of our state. … – Senate Democratic Leader Jeff Woodburn (D-Whitefield)

… “Given President Trump’s attempts to undermine our healthcare system and the failure of Republicans in Congress to act, states like New Hampshire need to be doing all we can do to stabilize our healthcare market, increase competition, and drive down costs for Granite Staters . . . While the Joint Health Care Reform Oversight Committee authorized the NH Insurance and HHS Commissioners to seek federal waivers to create a reinsurance program and to seek all federal funds available to help pay for the program, the Committee rejected, along party lines, the NH Insurance Commissioner’s proposal to help fund the program through an added assessment on our insurance carriers.” … – Senator Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth)
