State House Roundup Sue Ford

Dear Friend,

June 1st marked the beginning of Pride Month! This month is dedicated to reflecting on and celebrating LGBTQIA history. With New Hampshire Republicans’ refusal to even consider adding marriage equality to their party platform just last month, it is more important than ever for Democrats to show our support for the LGBTQIA community.

This past weekend, Granite Staters kicked off Pride Month in Concord with an incredible Pride celebration. PortsmouthNashua, and Claremont will also be having events in the coming weeks and we hope to see you there!

Please continue to use this regular newsletter as a tool for your local committee meetings or as a supplement to your own regular newsletter.

Sununu Reality Check

Last week, The NH Attorney General’s office revealed the results of a lengthy investigation that revealed there to be little evidence of possible voter fraud in the state.

Remember- Governor Sununu’s lie about Massachusetts voters coming by bus to vote in New Hampshire was used to justify the passage of HB 1264, the poll tax bill. While Sununu initially said he “hated” HB 1264 (formerly HB 372), he changed his mind when it passed, sending it to the supreme court for an opinion and saying “it would be hard not to sign it” if found constitutional.

Help us hold Governor Sununu accountable- call his office at (603) 271-2121 at ask him to veto HB 1264.

Follow Sununu Reality Check on TwitterFacebook, and check out our website (SununuRealityCheck.com) to get updates on how we’re holding Sununu accountable.
